Saturday 9.30 – 10.15am
This class includes strength, conditioning and flexibility.

Saturday 10.20 – 11.00am
This class includes strength, conditioning and flexibility.
IDTA DANCE AWARDS 2020
At the beginning of 2020 we attended the IDTA Theatre Dance Awards in Manchester as six of our students had been nominated to compete in Modern Jazz/Theatrecraft and Tap, Kayleigh Goddard, Ella Norman,
Annie Knight, Alana Orr and Poppy Wood. What a day we had! Annie Knight, after giving an outstanding performance, as did all our pupils, came away as Winner of the Intermediate Modern Jazz section and on top of this was also awarded the Gladys Thorpe Ballet Trophy chosen by Wayne Sleep head judge on the selection panel.

MISS DANCE GREAT BRITAIN 2019
A huge congratulations to Annie Knight, finalist of Miss Dance Great Britain 2019. Chosen from over a thousand dancers across the UK and down to the last 6 from 57. She danced amazingly and made everyone at the Lorraine School of Theatre Dance proud. Well done Annie!
DANCE WORKSHOP SUMMER 2019
We are very excited about our upcoming commercial workshop in Summer. Our pupils will be attending classes under the guidance of an invited professional performer Andrew Chadwick!
Andrew has a vast experience in performing in Musicals including performing lead roles such as ‘Rusty’ in ‘Starlight Express’, ‘Mungojerry’ in ‘Cats’, ‘Bobby C’ in ‘Saturday Night Fever’, Dance captain in ‘Fame’ along with many other theatre credits. Andrew has also appeared in Disney’s recent Major Motion Picture Remake of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ where he danced the role of ‘Lumiere’.

MICHAEL BUBLÉ TRIBUTE
Our senior girls have acted as backing dancers to a Michael Bublé Tribute performance in 2017 and in 2018.
IDTA WORKSHOP 2018
We attended the IDTA Scholarships in Manchester 2018 where one of our wonderful pupils, Annie Knight, won a commendation in both Theatrecraft and Modern Jazz. Places are awarded by examiners at school exam sessions throughout the country. We are now looking forward to the Freestyle Scholarships in May at Birmingham!
